Anchorage artist Amanda Rose Warren designed the official "I Voted" stickers for the 2026 general election. Her whimsical artwork features animals representing the five regions of the state, and the stickers have become a popular item for residents casting their ballots.

The collection includes a moose for Anchorage, a bear for Wasilla, a fox for Fairbanks, a whale for Juneau, and a musk ox for Nome. Warren added the U.S. and Alaskan flags to each original painting and placed the animals beneath the aurora borealis. She explained her intent with the shared sky background, saying, "I tried to create the same aurora over each of the animals to signify we are all under one sky here in Alaska." She noted that voting day can feel divisive, but she hoped the design would bring people together.

Poll workers report high demand for the stickers. Grace Ann Pierce, a poll worker at the Midtown Mall early voting location, described the hesitation voters show when choosing a design. She said, "People will get up here and they hesitate on what sticker they want to pick." Pierce added that the staff jokes with voters, asking if they only came to vote for the sticker, but noted that it is all in good fun.

Warren said she was thrilled when the Alaska Division of Elections contacted her about the project. She has received positive feedback from supporters who are eager to grab a sticker while they are there. "Small texts and emails from people early voting, just really excited to go in and grab the sticker while they're there," she said. "It's been really exciting."

The moose from Warren's design also appears on the cover of the official Alaska Division of Elections Pamphlet for the 2026 general election. The stickers are available at early voting locations across the state as lines remain long for residents completing their civic duty.
