Milwaukee Brewers players left their buses to interact directly with spectators during the 2026 World Series championship parade. The procession moved from the center of downtown Milwaukee to the lakefront. The team celebrated their recent championship win with fans who lined the route.

Manager Pat Murphy rode in the back of a pickup truck, receiving salutes from the crowd. Catcher William Contreras and pitcher Brandon Woodruff held the World Series trophy for photographs. Woodruff also spoke with reporters during the event. The players took moments to step out of the vehicles to share the trophy with onlookers.

The 2026 team made a specific effort to honor the 1982 American League champions. The parade route included a stop near the Bob Uecker mural in downtown Milwaukee. There, the team paused to reflect and drink Miller Lite. This gesture connected the current roster to the historical legacy of the organization in Wisconsin.

Members of the 1982 team attended the parade. Robin Yount, Paul Molitor, Ted Simmons, and Rollie Fingers were present. Molitor discussed the impact of the 2026 team on the city and the state. Simmons spoke about what the recent title means for the 1982 group. Fingers observed the celebration in the city streets.

Players distributed items to the crowd throughout the downtown area. The team handed out shirts, baseballs, and bottles of wine. They also sprayed champagne on fans. Garrett Mitchell posed for pictures with children. As the buses approached Maier Festival Park, players removed the vehicle tarps. The crowd reacted loudly to the sight.

The parade served as a public display of the team's connection to Milwaukee and Wisconsin. The event featured interviews with current players and historical figures from the franchise's past. The celebration marked the culmination of the Brewers' 2026 postseason run.
