Lamar Jackson practiced in full on Wednesday, marking his first complete session since injuring his ankle earlier this month. This development suggests the Baltimore Ravens quarterback will likely start Sunday's game at Buffalo.

The Ravens have lost their last two games and currently hold a 4-3 record. Their absence from the field has been costly, with the team going 1-2 under starter Tyler Huntley.

Jackson originally injured his leg during a home win over Tennessee on Oct. 4. He missed the following three games. Last week, he was limited in practice and designated as questionable before being ruled inactive for the loss to Cincinnati.

CBS Sports sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson reported that Jackson would play against the Bills. The team has not yet issued a formal game status announcement, which is scheduled for Friday.

Teammates expressed support for his return. Running back Derrick Henry called Jackson the "heart and soul of this team" on the team website. Left tackle Ronnie Stanley offered a cautionary note, stating the team should not rely on Jackson to carry the entire offense.

"It’s going to be a big boost," Stanley said regarding the potential return.

The injury list extends beyond the quarterback. Defensive players Smith and Ioane are dealing with knee injuries. Smith briefly left the Bengals game with a knee issue before returning, while Ioane reportedly sprained his knee and is expected to miss time. Rookie running back Adam Randall returned to practice, opening his window for activation from injured reserve.

The game is set for 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 1, in Orchard Park, N.Y. CBS will broadcast the match with Ian Eagle and Ross Tucker on commentary. In the Baltimore-Washington market, the game will air on WJZ-TV.

The NFL requires teams to announce inactive players 90 minutes before kickoff, which is 11:30 a.m. ET Sunday. If Jackson remains a full participant through Friday and receives no injury designation, he is expected to play. A change in status would send Huntley to start for a fourth straight game.

First-year coach Jesse Minter leads a team that has dropped two division games in a row. The roster has also seen the departure of kicker Justin Tucker, who signed with Kansas City. The upcoming road trip to Buffalo presents a challenging assignment for a squad still adjusting to life without its two-time MVP.
