The regular season for Tennessee high school football concludes this week as multiple teams compete for region titles. These matchups determine which squads advance to the playoffs starting next week. WSMV’s Touchdown Friday Night broadcast will air highlights of these decisive contests.
The featured game of the week pits Page against Nolensville for the 5A Region 5 crown. The Patriots enter the contest with an 8-1 record, while the Knights are undefeated at 9-0. The winner will secure the regional title and a playoff berth.
In Williamson County, the rivalry between Ravenwood and Brentwood continues. Both teams hold 5-0 records within the region and meet for the 6A Region 6 championship. This contest, known locally as the Battle of the Woods, decides the top spot in that division.
Oakland and Riverdale meet on Riverdale’s home field to settle the 6A Region 3 title. The Patriots face the Warriors in a matchup that carries both rivalry stakes and regional implications. The outcome will define the top team in that specific region.
East Nashville travels to East Robertson in 2A Region 6. The Indians defeated the Eagles last year to claim the region crown. Friday’s game serves as the rematch for that title, with both teams seeking to establish dominance in the division.
