No. 6 Utah quarterback Devon Dampier threw for 260 yards and two touchdowns as the Utes beat Cincinnati 49-25 on Saturday. Utah has now won 14 consecutive games, the longest active streak in the FBS. The program's previous 14-game run lasted from December 2007 to September 2009, when the Utes won 16 straight. Utah improved to 8-0 for the first time since 2010 and has won 10 straight Big 12 games.
Utah controlled the clock in the opening period, holding the ball for more than 10 minutes in the first quarter. The Utes traveled 78 yards in 12 plays on their first drive, which ended with Dampier's 4-yard touchdown pass to Hunter Andrews. Andrews finished with five receptions for 112 yards and two scores. Wayshawn Parker added a 13-yard touchdown run to close a 75-yard drive and finished with 82 rushing yards. Early in the second quarter, Utah's Rabbit Evans returned a fumble 51 yards for a touchdown, the team's first fumble return for a score since 2022.
Cincinnati dropped to 5-3 after entering the game fresh off an upset of previously unbeaten Texas Tech. The Bearcats reached the Utah 1 after a 63-yard completion to Malachi Henry, but a holding penalty and a sack pushed them back, and their 35-yard field goal attempt went wide. Cincinnati is 2-3 in Big 12 play.
No. 3 Georgia beat No. 17 Florida 27-8 in Atlanta behind Chris Cole's 66-yard fumble return for a touchdown. Georgia forced four turnovers and outrushed Florida 217-48 to win its sixth straight game in the rivalry. Florida's Aaron Philo threw two interceptions and was pulled from the game after returning from a right shoulder injury.
No. 4 Indiana needed overtime to beat Minnesota 23-16 in Bloomington. Backup quarterback Grant Wilson hit Charlie Becker with a 25-yard touchdown pass on the first possession of the extra period, and the Hoosiers stopped Minnesota on the following drive. Minnesota had taken a 16-13 lead on Luke Drzewiecki's 60-yard field goal with 19 seconds left, but Paddy McAteer answered with a 60-yard field goal as time expired to force overtime. Indiana pulled starting quarterback Josh Hoover at halftime after he threw his second interception of the season.
No. 5 Notre Dame defeated Navy 35-13 in Foxborough, Massachusetts, to win its ninth straight game in the series. CJ Carr passed for 210 yards and two touchdowns, and Nolan James Jr. ran for scores of 52 and 23 yards. Notre Dame's defense entered the game allowing 67.3 yards per game on the ground, and Navy's Jackson Gutierrez passed that mark by halftime while finishing with 110 rushing yards on 28 carries.
No. 7 UCLA shut out Nevada 27-0 at the Rose Bowl, the venue's first shutout since November 2007. The Bruins intercepted Luke Duncan three times in the first quarter and added a fourth pick in the final seconds. UCLA improved to 8-0 for the first time since 2005. Duncan, who transferred from UCLA after Bob Chesney was hired last December, finished 1 for 8 for 36 yards. No. 8 BYU beat Arizona State 27-20, No. 12 Mississippi beat Auburn 45-15, No. 13 Texas Tech beat No. 22 Arizona 34-26, and No. 14 Wake Forest beat Virginia 51-7.
