Nineteen-one. That is the number of combat clashes the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recorded across the battlefield over the past day. The data, published on the military's Facebook page as of 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 28, indicates a high-intensity period of fighting. Russian forces launched the most active assaults on the Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, and Huliaipole fronts.
The heaviest pressure fell on the Pokrovsk front, where Russian troops conducted 32 attacks. They attempted to advance near Sofiivka, Vilne, Vodianske, Vasylivka, Molodetske, and Udachne. Forces also pushed toward Toretske, Kucheriv Yar, Dobropillia, Hannivka, Novohryshyne, Hulive, and Serhiivka. On the Kostiantynivka front, Ukrainian units repelled 15 Russian attacks. The Russians conducted offensive operations near the city of Kostiantynivka and moved toward Raiske and Pavlivka. The Huliaipole front saw 17 attacks as Russian troops attempted to advance toward Ternuvate, Dolynka, Hirke, Charivne, and Yehorivka.
Other fronts saw sustained but lower-volume activity. On the North Slobozhanshchyna front and in the operational zone in Russia's Kursk Oblast, the Russians conducted 37 strikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements. Three of these strikes used multiple-launch rocket systems. In the South Slobozhanshchyna sector, Ukrainian forces repelled five Russian attacks aimed at Okhrimivka and Mala Vovcha. The Kupiansk front recorded three Russian attempts to improve positions, with offensive operations directed toward Radkivka.
Ukrainian units held their lines on the Lyman front, repelling six Russian assaults aimed at Nove, Stavky, and Lyman. The Sloviansk front saw two Russian attacks, one near Yampil and another toward Orikhuvatka. On the Kramatorsk front, Russian troops launched three attacks toward Malynivka, Vasiutynske, and Chervone.
Several sectors reported a lull in offensive activity. The General Staff noted no assaults on the Oleksandrivka front. Similarly, Russian forces did not conduct any assaults on the Orikhiv and Prydniprovske fronts. On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, there is no evidence of any offensive Russian groups being formed in the area.
The report provides a snapshot of the front lines as of early Tuesday morning. The concentration of attacks on the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka sectors marks a distinct shift in the distribution of Russian pressure compared to the northern and central fronts. The data serves as the official military account of the previous 24 hours of engagement.
