Jay-Z will perform the halftime show at Super Bowl LVI on February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The announcement confirms the rapper as the sole headliner for the event, a role his company Roc Nation has helped produce for the NFL since 2019. While the identity of the football teams competing that day remains unknown until late January, the music lineup is now fixed.

The central question for fans and industry observers is whether Jay-Z will invite special guests. Past halftime shows have frequently featured additional artists, and Jay-Z has not yet ruled out a collaborative set. Speculation has coalesced around four figures with strong historical ties to the rapper.

Beyonce is the most frequent candidate cited. She and Jay-Z married in 2018 and have released multiple tracks together, including "Crazy in Love" and "Drunk in Love." She has prior experience on the NFL stage, having performed at Super Bowl 50 in 2016 and singing the national anthem at Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2001.

Rihanna is another strong possibility. Jay-Z played a key role in her early career as CEO of Def Jam Records, and the two have collaborated on songs such as "Umbrella" and "Run This Town." Rihanna headlined the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show and recently appeared as a surprise guest on Jay-Z's tour at Yankee Stadium.

Two other names appear in the rumor mill: his daughter Blu Ivy Carter and fellow rapper Eminem. Blu Ivy has danced during her mother's tours and performed at the 2024 "Beyonce Bowl" in Houston, while also attending games with her father. Eminem joined Jay-Z on stage during his current tour and previously collaborated with him on the track "Renegade." Both artists have prior NFL performance credits, with Eminem appearing at the 2022 Super Bowl.

The NFL has not released a final list of performers beyond Jay-Z. The halftime slot is limited to 14 minutes, a constraint that may influence how many guests can be included in the production. The specific details of the show's staging and any additional musical partners will likely be revealed closer to the game date.
